Superannuation - Binding Death Benefit Nomination Form

Unlike your other assets, your super benefits you have aren’t considered part of your estate, so your Will cannot include your super. Nominating a binding death beneficiary now can provide clarity about who you want to receive your super if you die and help avoid arguments between your loved ones.

  1. Go to your superannuation website and download the binding death nomination form.

  2. Decide who you want to leave your superannuation to, complete the form and confirm it’s been received.

  3. Update your document every three years.
